NSW TAB Dividends

Being a regular punter ourselves we are always interested to compare the performance of the three main TAB dividend payouts, and of recent times we are starting to wonder if the NSW TAB is still a good option.   We have seen a number of dividend payouts recently where, compared with Tatt's QLD and even TAB VIC, the dividend payout has been so far out of the money it has us wondering.

Now typically we have found that the Dividends are fairly consistent across the three TAB's usually within a few dollars (for Trifecta's and Exacta's) however recently we have seen some very large discrepancies.  Looking at the Exacta Payout today on Northam Race 1, Tatts paid $111.10 for the Exacta, TAB Vic paid $112.00 and NSW TAB paid $24.90.

In the Trifecta payouts, take as an example, Sandown Park Race 12, Tatts paid a $1,914.40 (which included a $387.85 jackpot), while TAB Vic paid $663.10 and NSW TAB paid $746.30.

When it comes to greyhound racing, we find that we rely on these larger payouts to make up for the ones we do not get right, so where does that leave us? Time to start to move away from NSW TAB as a start.

We will keep you updated as the month progresses.
